If you could create the ultimate
workspace, where would you begin?
For noted illustrator
and designer, Bob Staake, the process started in 1995 when he
purchased as 200-year-old home in the historic district of Chatham,
Massachusetts situated on the elbow of Cape Cod.
As a successful freelancer,
Staake's work has appeared in such publications as The Washington
Post, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, Forbes
and MAD magazines as well as on Cartoon Network, Hallmark
Cards and in over 40 books. When he realized that a small barn
on his property would have to be torn down -- rebuilding the
perfect 12' x 20' studio in its place made logical sense.
The State Of The Art Studio details the process of creating the
ultimate studio and workplace -- while taking the guesswork out
of equipping a space with the ultimate home and business products
that encourage creativity, increase productivity and enhance
comfort.
