Behind The Pages With Bob:

"Spreadwise, this was a tough little picture book to illustrate because the left pages were intended for an adult to read, the right page for a child. A novel concept for picture books, but I should have appraoched the book on a page by page basis -- rather than spread by spread. The fact that I didn't gives many of the spreads a 'disjointed' look -- one that I'm sure would have been confusing to some kids. But as this was my very first all-digitally illustrated picture books, I was trying to learn the new medium after many years of ink, paint and colored pencils."
